Our foundation has received four boxes of assorted books from Stichting Biblonef Nederland, a book-donating organization based in the Netherlands.
The books, which are more than 300, were donated to our school in Liberia – Help Liberia Foundation Community School. They include reading books, history books, story books, geography books, science books, dictionaries, as well as books about animals and the environment.
The donation from Biblionef is something we greatly appreciate, as we are in dire need of books and other educational materials. The consignment received will definitely help to alleviate the paucity of books in our school.
Everyone connected with our school – the staff, students and parents, as well as the community – is excited about and appreciative of the educational assistance from Biblionef.
Besides the donation of books, we are also extremely grateful to Biblionef for underwriting the entire cost of transporting the books to Liberia.
Our gratitude goes to Inge de Jager of Biblionef and the entire staff of the organization in the Netherlands for swiftly and immensely contributing to our educational goals. We also thank all the sponsors/donors of Biblionef, whose contributions have made it possible for our school to receive these books.
As a lot of schools in Liberia are experiencing a lack or shortage of books, our desire is to work with Biblionef as a distributing partner in Liberia, so as to help get books for other needy academic institutions.
