Our Hearts and Prayers Go Out to the Polish People

Posted by Help Liberia Foundation on April 11, 2010

The vicissitudes of life are always with us, visiting individuals and groups of individuals, including a whole country, at varying times and seasons.

Yesterday, Saturday, 10 April 2010, was a day on which an unbearably huge down of life visited the people of Poland. About one hundred prominent and influential leaders and decision-makers of the Polish society, while traveling to Russia to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Katyn massacre, lost their lives in a plane crash.

Among the dead were President Lech Kaczynski and is wife, Maria Kaczynski. Many other government officials and military leaders also lost their lives. Probably, the incident is the worst national tragedy since the Second World War.

On behalf of the foundation and all those connected with it, we want to express our heart-felt condolences to the people of Poland, especially the families of those who died in the tragic plane crash. May the good God of heaven and earth console their hearts and keep watch over them as they go through this difficult period of sorrow and grief.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the bereaved families and the entire country. And may the souls of the dead rest in peace perpetual!
